FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is your dress code?  Polo type collared shirt, slacks and nice closed toe shoes (tennis shoes OK if they look new)  For ladies you may wear blouse type shirts but do NOT wear any low cut or tight fitting shirts please!  This goes for the guys too!

What you should know prior to your first day at BPTI?  Study all your orthopedic class notes, thereapeutic exercises, gait and DEFINITELY your manual therapy/mobilizations notes.  Make sure you know your anatomy!

Where is Boerne Physical Therapy located?  You can go to our contact page and download the map.  We are located next to HEB in the Boerne Square Shopping Center.  In January we will be moving our facility in front of Walmart!

Does BPTI offer a stipend?  At this time we do not offer a stipend.

What is BPTI's hours of operation?  We are open M/W from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, T/Th 9:30 AM to 7 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.  We take an hour for lunch M-Th and 30 minutes on Friday. You are expected to work all the hours that we are open for business.

Do I have to give a presentation?  Yes we require every student to give a 15-30 minute presentation during one of our staff meetings.

Does BPTI have staff meetings?  We meet the first Thursday of the month from 8-9:30 AM for staff training and then have a staff meeting from 1-2 PM over lunch.

Do I have to make up missed days from the clinical?  This is on a student by student basis.  If you are progressing as expected we do not require that if you miss one day.  If more than one day typically you need to make that up.

Should I bring textbooks to the clinical?  You are more than welcome to bring any books you would like that would enhance your experience here at BPTI.

General Lunch questions?  We have a refridgerator for storage of lunches.  There are many places in Boerne to eat at during your stay here.  We also have a microwave to heat up stuff.

Is BPTI an easy clinical compared to others?  NOT!!!!!!!!!!!
