The MOG

What is MOG?

MOG stands for Medically Oriented Gym. It is a new model of fitness training that involves clients who want training by trained medical professionals.  We are aware of your history and past injuries/surgeries and are able to modify your program to your condition and fitness level.  Danny Kasprowicz, PT, ATC, LAT director/owner of Boerne Physical Therapy Institute, wanted to offer affordable wellness advice and fitness training to the Boerne and surrounding areas. With MOG, the client will be given a thorough evaluation to determine current fitness level, body composition, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, and balance to establish goals that are specific for that individual.

 How much does MOG cost?

There are several different plans to choose from. We offer a variety of programs to meet everybody’s individual fitness needs. The initial evaluation is a one time charge of $75.00. This will include a thorough evaluation looking at all the different areas of fitness. We will take skin fold measurements to determine your body composition, tape measurements at 8 different sites, and a fitness test to determine current fitness level. This will be a one on one time for us to get to know you and learn about your specific goals.

After the evaluation, you can choose from three different categories.

      1x/week = $50/ session = $200/month

      2x/week = $45/session = $360/month

      3x/week = $40/session = $480/ month

Why should I choose MOG over a regular gym?

At MOG, the client will receive close monitoring to ensure correct form during all exercises. We also offer blood pressure monitoring, 02 saturation monitoring, and safe progressions to ensure that the client gets the most out of every session with us. We treat every session as an opportunity to educate the client in all the areas of fitness, health, and overall wellness. All of our clients will have a one on one meeting with a licensed Physical Therapist for their evaluation. Every session there after, the client will be led through their specific exercise regimen by one of our highly trained fitness coaches. All of our fitness coaches are highly trained.

How much time per session will I be expected to stay?

During your fitness routines you will be lifting weights for 15-30 minutes and doing some type of aerobic training for 15 minutes, flexibility and balance for 15 minutes.  So you will be here for one hour.  As you get more fit your treatment times will become less.
