Yes we do take Volunteers and students who would like to observe what is like to work in a Physical Therapy Facility!

Here is some information that you must do prior to your first day at BPTI

1) Set up a time with a staff member to get oriented to our facility.  We will introduce you to our staff and show you around the facility.  We will keep track of your hours at BPTI by having you fill out a time card and punch in and out each time you arrive and leave our facility.   You will also make a nametag to wear in our facility each time you arrive.

2) Please observe our dress code when you arrive at our facility.  You need to dress in Polo type shirt and slacks or you may wear scrubs.  You are allowed to wear jeans if they are without holes!  No shorts please or open toed shoes.

3) You are not allowed to work with patients at our facility during this time but you will be asked to assist with cleaning off mats, helping with towels and linen and in general keeping the clinic picked up.

4) You will be assigned with a Phyiscal Therapy Technician each time you come in to learn different aspects of Physical Therapy.

5)  Feel free to ask as many questions as you like to get the full benefit from your experience at BPTI.

6) You are NOT required to be at BPTI on any certain day or time.  You may come in and observe any time we are open so be sure and check our hours of operation!
