How do I get an appointment?
Call us at 830.249.7211 and we will make an appointment for you. (return to top)
Do I need an appointment or can I just come in?
Please call for an appointment in all cases. We can sometimes see you the
same day you call. This allows us to inform the therapist and schedule you
at a time we can devote our full attention to your care. (return to top)
Do I have to have a doctor’s referral to come see you?
Yes and no. In the state of Texas a Physical Therapist can see you for the
evaluation only without a referral. If you need any type of treatment or rehabilitation
services we need the referral from your Physician. There are insurances now
that allow you to come to Physical Therapy without a referral. You can call
your insurance carrier to confirm this or we will do that when you call for
your first appointment. However, if you have been injured at your place of
work or if you have been in an accident, you should notify your personal physician,
perhaps go to see him, and gain a referral form first. If you have any questions
about what you may need, call us and we can help direct you to appropriate
sources.
If you want to have an evaluation on your Golf or fitness program we can do
that without a referral.
If you wish to see us for a fitness evaluation or to enroll in one of our
Golf fitness classes, please call us and we will schedule an initial 15-minute
free of charge assessment. (return to top)
How do I know if my insurance will cover your services?
When you call to set up your first appointment our front office manager will
ask for your insurance information and call to check on your benefits. We will
give you an idea of what they will cover and also your portion of responsibility
on your deductible or co-pay. (return to top)
What documents do I need to bring with me when I come for my first appointment?
Please bring your insurance card, the referral from your physician. If you
have any diagnostic tests (X-rays, MRI, Cat-Scan) bring them for your Physical
Therapist to review and help them in providing the best possible care for you.

Do you perform other services besides physical therapy?
Yes, we are a full service physical fitness facility and we offer several
classes in golf and sports fitness. We can analyze your sports-achievement
potential and help you play a better game, no matter what your favorite sport.
We also provide Occupational Therapy and Psychological Services for pain management.
We can do post-employment screenings, Functional Capacity Evaluations and
Work Conditioning/Work Hardening. (return to top)
What should I wear to my Physical Therapy evaluation and treatments?
You should wear loose fitting clothes and closed toe shoes (preferably tennis
shoes). It is helpful to be able to get to the area we are treating if it is
not covered with clothing. We have gowns if needed for certain parts of your
treatment. (return to top)
